Columbus, Mississippi."
Confederate Brigadier General Barksdale (1821-1863) had distinguished
himself at Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville, but was mortally
wounded during the July 2nd attack near the Trostle Farm at the
battle of Gettysburg.
Conservation framed with photo and brass biographical plaque.
