E Lee/ Bvt. Col. Comd." The famous Southern
general's signature measures 1.75" x 1.25" (sight)
and is triple matted and framed with an engraved
portrait of an elder Lee in uniform to an overall
size of 8.75" x 13.25". Lee received a brevet
commission to colonel in 1847 for his conduct at the
Battle of Chapultepec during the Mexican War.
Signature is clear and bright.
