Woodrow Wilson
Typed Letter Signed
Typed letter signed dated 12/7/1906 as
president of Princeton University.
Much more interesting content than first appears in the
letter which has Wilson turning down an invitation for a banquet
because "I am hoping to arrange to leave for Bermuda the first of
January and shall probably be absent the whole of that month and
perhaps a week into February". He did go to Bermuda and there
began his relationship with his long term mistress, Mary Hulbert Peck
eventually writing over 200 intimate letters to her!
